1. About this policy

Kooltank Inc. operates FocuzPlay. This policy explains the information associated with using FocuzPlay, what other people can see, and how to contact us about privacy. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Kooltank Inc.

2. FocuzPlay is a public-play service

Your username, gameplay and scores are public. People do not need an account to view public games and results.

Live Rooms, leaderboards and other public game views may display your username, puzzle board, moves, progress, elapsed time, scores and game results. Saved or paused game activity may also remain visible; public visibility is not necessarily limited to the time you are actively playing.

Choose a nickname rather than your real name. Do not include your email address, school, birthday, address or other identifying details. Reusing a username from another service may allow people to connect your activity across services. A nickname reduces direct identification but does not guarantee anonymity.

Other people may capture or share information they can view publicly. We cannot control copies made independently by those viewers.

3. Information associated with your use

Account information

Registration requires a username and password. The current registration process does not require an email address or collect your age. Your password is not part of your public profile or public gameplay.

Game information

FocuzPlay processes information needed to run games and maintain results, such as puzzle state, entered moves, progress, timing, scores and saved games. Availability and saving behaviour differ by game. Some unfinished sessions are not saved.

Support correspondence

If you email us, you provide your email address and whatever information you include in the message. Do not send passwords or unnecessary personal information.

Details about technical information and browser storage are still under review.

4. How information is used

Account and game information is used to provide sign-in, operate games, save supported progress, calculate results, and display public gameplay and leaderboards. Support information is used to respond to your enquiries.

5. Who can receive information

Public viewers can access the gameplay and username information described above.

We may disclose information where required by applicable law or a valid legal process.

6. Where information is processed

Kooltank Inc. operates in Canada. This does not necessarily mean all information is stored or processed in Canada.

7. Retention and deletion

Public copies made independently by other viewers may remain outside our control even if information is removed from FocuzPlay.

8. Your privacy requests

Contact [email protected] to ask about your information, request access or correction, or request account and associated-data deletion. Include your username and a description of your request, but never your password.

We may need to verify that you are entitled to make the request. Applicable law may provide rights to withdraw consent or complain to a privacy regulator. Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions or affect our ability to provide the service.

9. Children and families

FocuzPlay may be used by children as well as adults. We do not collect age during registration, and FocuzPlay does not provide player-to-player messaging. Public usernames and gameplay remain visible regardless of the player's age.

Parents and guardians should help children choose a non-identifying nickname and understand public play. They can contact us with questions or concerns about a child's information.

10. Security

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private, and contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

11. Changes and contact

We will identify updates to this policy by changing its effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law; additional consent will be sought where required.
